I've successfully overwintered a small hop plant two years ago. I just made sure it got as much light as possible, made sure it was in a big pot relative to the size of the plant, and gave it lots of water. Come warmer weather I put it outside and it did just fine.

So was it a plant you took inside? Or did you start it inside and then transplant it in the spring?
