5# tank

Post by Graham.C » Wed Nov 16, 2011 11:17 am

Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a second 5# tank. I was wondering where is the cheapest place you know of to pick one up?

I was going to pick one up during the holidays from ontariobeerkegs, but I ran out of CO2 this weekend partially through carbing my stout. I really want to be drinking my stout before xmas.

No I have to get it hydro tested. I was planning on getting a second just so when this happened I wouldn't be without one, plus I could keep extra kegs on CO2. However, my tank beat me to the punch and quit on me a month early.

jacpac might be a cheaper option ($20) for those 'emergency' situations....grab another paintball tank in case you have to carb some beer maybe?....from my understanding, you could still dispense a few kegs on a paintball tank pending the size, so that would buy you a couple of days....just a thought if you didn't want the hassle of another tank. And i think i read somewhere that the 9oz paintball tanks don't need hydro's.

You can borrow my 20# until I move.
