Hops In QC

Post by Tony L » Wed Sep 07, 2011 5:11 pm

Shared a few brews with Chalmers last night ( thanks, I had a great time ) and he mentioned about Canadian hops not being available.
Anyway I thought I would share this site http://www.bristolhops.ca/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; with you for your enjoyment.

Cheers

Well, shit, that's just down the road from my cousin! She makes all-natural soap products - she may already know these 'organic' hop farmers. I'll have to see if she can get her cousin a discount

LOL

All kinds of hops growing in Canada for sure, last yr when i put out the 'call' for fresh hops I had offers coming in from all over ON and QC. I bought a load of fresh hops out of QC last year and have more on the way from the same farm again this year, they are going big time with harvesters and pelletizer, they are offering dried varieties this year too which is great to see :cheers2:

Are these for a fresh/wet hop beer? I was afraid you had got the shaft and we'd be SOL.

Maybe that should be the name for your wet hop beer - The Shaft.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:
