I just started getting into hydroponics. I have no idea what I'm doing but plan to document my learning experience.
I probably will start simple with lettuce and peppers and then get into more complex veggies later on.

I used to do a lot of this quite a few years ago. I forgot the name of the system I put together, but here's a picture of the setup.
The table eventually had 3 of those plastic bins on it. Each bin was filled with clay marbles that the plants sat in. Three times a day a timer would activate a pump which filled the bins with nutrient water for 15 minutes. Once the pump shut off, the water would eventually drain out. I was amazed at how well it worked. I can't seem to find any pics of it in use, though. I had a lettuce crop once that was insane.
One day I'd like to try some aeroponics.
