Picked this up on the KK forum, looks like it might be worth a try (The recipe is from BBQ Bible Sauces Rubs and Marinades by Raichlen):
½ cup ground coffee
½ cup kosher or sea salt (I cut this in 1/2)
½ cup packed dark brown sugar
¼ cup hot paprika
2 T ground cardamom
2 T ground ginger
1/3 cup chopped fresh garlic
½ cup veg. oil or as needed
Combine all ingredients except oil in food processor to mix. Add oil to make a thick paste. Rub on brisket and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.

The family devoured it before i had the chance to get a good photo of the slices but here is is just before foiling it and a pic of a slice that i'm having for a hangover cure. I was happy with the smoke ring (about 1/4 inch) and really really happy with the flavour. I will definitely be doing this one again and probably more often then pulled pork now that i know its a lot less effort and incredible flavour.

Looks awesome, WSM does a nice job. Can't wait to get mine on the KK. What did you use for cardamom? Whole pods ground up? Or just the seeds ground up? Red or black?
