Does anyone here have this Charcuterie book? I'm thinking of getting it and wondering if it's any good.

I've had it for about a month or so and it came highly recommended from a buddy of mine in Toronto that is a pretty knowledgeable smoker. It's an excellent book and I couldn't possibly recommend it enough if you are into smoking, drying, curing, etc meats. A big thumbs up here!

I've got it as a PDF which I could bring to the hoptobefest thing on a thumb drive if you'd like a copy

Thanks for the offer but I'd rather have the physical book, I can't get into the ebook thing... that might change if I ever get a tablet. I found the pdf on the internetz so I'll use it as a preview of sorts.

I'm a fan of reading on a tablet, it's easier for travelling and I can carry 100s of books at a time.

I have it as well. It's pretty good, perhaps a little dated and some of their nitrate usage is really on the high side of things but definitely a good starting point
