If these go on sale at 50% off like much of their other stuff, might be a nice score.

Re: Canadian Tire Kamado
Looks decent at full price but it's no 'similarly equipped Primo' as the one review says
be nice to know what diameter it is to figure what the real cooking space is, it's no where close to the 600 sq/in they quote. A large BGE is 262 sq in with an 18 1/4" grate, it looks to be around the same size.

They are quoting the two racks for total cooking space I think.

Yeah I figured that's why I'd like to know what the real cooking space is, it's gotta be a 21" diameter if it's 300 or so sq/in I think

I saw this yesterday over in darkside, it looked nice but feels lightweight compared to the BGE also I think the top vent is plastic and not removeable.

Plastic and not removable...o_0. I guess I'd just have to melt it off.

Was looking at one today. Not a bad design. Grates are properly thought out with hinged sections. The top is metal, but its cheap. I'd seriously consider one if I was still in the market - if they went on sale, which they should.

Good to know, cuz if they do go on sale, I may be able to justify the expense.mr x wrote:Was looking at one today. Not a bad design. Grates are properly thought out with hinged sections.
