I would suggest against pre-cutting for folks that you aren't sure of lengths. The whole benefit of the long pieces is that, with correct lengths cut, an extra grill or two may be extracted. So hold your horses!

That was more of a threat to entice people to let me know.

In short;
Scrape
clean (goo be gone)
roughen (Emery cloth)
high temp calk (you wallet may have a hard time with that one, split it with another user)
wax paper to separate and close to cure for 24 hours.
So easy I did it.

Buy a caulking tube at CT. Two can use it.

Use more than you think you should and clean it up.

Go back and see the "Greg" instructions.

The adhesive to use is Permatex Ultra Copper (ultra high heat silicone).

A small squeeze-tube is likely enough for the smaller cookers. The caulking tubes 'should' to two Vision-size grills, but I wouldn't want to bet anything on that! You want to lay it on real heavy.
