Sweet Baby Ray's
Wife saw Sweet Baby Ray's in the Bedford Target - I guess it's now available in our region.

Awesome, that's good to know. I still have quite a stash left, but I'm happy to know that our local Target (when it opens) will have it available.

So what's the story with this stuff? Never heard of it before now.

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

I had never heard of it until the summer when cooking with family in Boston. Wife's cousin uses it exclusively when at the Kansas City Royale. It's a decent store bought sauce if you don't have time to make your own. I used it on both ribs and chicken and it was great. Personally I don't care for it with pulled pork (I prefer vinegar and chili flakes) but whatever floats your boat. Cousin also uses it thinned with Dr. Pepper as a finish for burnt ends. To sweet for me, but still good.mr x wrote:So what's the story with this stuff? Never heard of it before now.

I agree! Sauce I made for fall river had a full 500ml of oatmeal stout reduced to a 1/4C before adding to my base sauce.NASH wrote:Make your own with lots o bourbon and stout = better

Fawk, went to the store here and it was all sold out, but it is nice to know I can now get it locally.

Thanks, but I still have a bit left over from the 2 pound bottle I swiped from my father until I can get it from Target here in town.
Got a Moose burger ready for dinner and am getting ready to clean a salt water duck to have for supper tonight.
Just put 4 loaves of dough into pans waiting on a second rise for fresh bread later today... yum.
