Smoked Oysters?

Post by canuck » Sat Feb 09, 2013 7:55 pm

I purchased a bunch of fresh oysters yesterday for our home brew meeting. They never got eaten as 5lbs of steamed beer garlic mussels seemed to be enough. I shucked a few raw ones today but got thinking about smoking them. Has anyone put oysters in their smoker, and if so, what was your process?

I end up throwing the oysters in the smoker yesterday. I put a little white wine in the shell and smoked them on applewood for an hour. Very tasty.

Wow, the ones in the can are already some of my favourite things on earth. Those must be like sex. With a girl. A hot one.

I need a smoker. or sex with a hot girl... since they're the same basically.

Most girls are hot... you just have to light them up first. ;)

Looking good again Shane.

lol I didn't know you could do that, thought that was frowned upon by the police...

I guess you learn somethin new everyday lol.

I think you should probably make some more of those and let me have a taste-a-roo.
