Easy bread recipe

Post by TJ Brew » Sat Nov 17, 2012 4:09 pm

Go to bread recipe for me.

3 cups sifted flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup sugar
12 ounces of beer
1/2 cup melted butter

Preheat oven to 375F

Mix first 5 ingredients together, put in a greased bread pan, pour melted butter over mixture and bake for 1 hour. Rest in pan for about 15 minutes after removing from the oven.

If you are not a fan of a nice crusty bread, mix in the 1/2 cup of butter.

For an even easier recipe, buy self-rising flour and omit the baking soda and salt from the recipe (I have not tried this but apparently it works).

Enjoy.

* I made this one today with my Christmas Ale.

*Edit: I can't spell or read well, had a few errors. :cheers2:
