I bought some from this guy Monday. Looks really good, super nice dude as well. Just live in Fairview. I also told him I started growing my own this year, and he gave me a bonus clove of elephant garlic to try growing. He still had a LOT of the braids when I was there.

that picture of you behind the bbq from fruitfest seemed to suggest you might be half vampire. i guess thats not the case!

ooooo interesting - I have 20lbs of pickling cukes coming on monday. Would be nice to get some local garlic for em instead of the grocery store shit.

If this is Russian Red garlic it tastes divine. My favorite kind of garlic to cook with. I buy it locally here in the valley for $8 a lb. So $15 for that weave sounds like a good price. Guy I buy from sells out in 3 weeks or so. He grows 800 lbs each year.

I'm not totally sure what kind it is, but it is redish. I've not yet been home to cook with it yet either, but soon enough!
