Hello folks!

Post by nickspacek » Sat Apr 18, 2020 12:57 pm

Hi everyone! New to the forum, been brewing for only about 18 months now, mainly all-grain from recipes of which many are clones of craft beer from around North America.

Hope to learn a few things on here! I'm currently setting up an electric 3-vessel system. Planning to have a water heater/boil kettle online in the next couple of weeks and bring the other bits online incrementally. Currently have a grisette (clone recipe) and an American IPA in fermentation. One is destined for bottles and the other for my keg, but I haven't decided which is which yet.

Have a great weekend!

:welcome:
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

I'm only one month late... Welcome aboard!

How is/did the Grisette taste?
