Hello from Halifax

Post by CoolBeans » Sun Feb 16, 2014 3:58 pm

Hey everyone,

I just starting brewing this month. I purchased a starter kit and Festa Brew at Noble Grape and just bottled it the other day. I had a couple hiccups along the way but its all in the experience. I'm very exciting to learn all about brewing, I've watched a couple documentaries and i'm currently reading How to Brew by John Palmer, hoping to have it finished over my reading week. I would like to jump right into extract brewing for my next brew. I just need to find a reasonably priced stock pot first. I'm glad I stumbled upon this forum to get more educated on brewing.

Cheers,
Shawn

as for the stock pot, This is the best price I have seen on a large one, that's why I bought one.

I bought a smaller one from "a Canadian store that also sells tires" when I first started brewing, it can boil 9 liters easily and only cost me $18 and taxes.
