brewing in the valley

Post by PSB1 » Tue Jun 18, 2013 9:45 pm

hi everyone.

been lurking for a few months now since i found out about the site from sledhead and have finally decided to sign up.

I have been enjoying all of the local craft beers for a couple of years now but only started home brewing a few months ago once i learned about kegging. I have done a few festas so far and i'm in the process of building a kegerator.

i also enjoy seeing the awseome food in the "whats cooking" thread  ...hope to get some pics on there from my off-set. :grilling:

Super -Elite now that shits funny.
But seriously send me an e-mail and add your self to the list under groups. Lots of folks getting into this around here. We also do a few events down this way too.... Speaking of which I think we missed the window on the Lambic Project.
Maybe plan something out for this fall to go with MooVember!

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.
