I've been making some lazy (read Festa) homebrew and have made a few extract kits over the last couple of years. While I love beer, my body only lets me drink it in limited quantities these days. Due to this, I strive to get the most flavour out of each brew.
All of my brews have centred around being a hophead. A black IPA, a Festa kit with a boil of extra hops and grapefruit peel, and an extract kit with some citra hops and lemon peel for a "bright" finish. In my opinion, it's fine to add citrus to a beer when you're making, but not once it's done
