Reporting in to Wolfville
Just moved to Wolfville from the States. Appalled at the prices in your monopolized liquor stores and with a little more space here, why not give it a shot. Picked up stuff from Wine Kitz New Minas this morning - one of the Festa kits - here we go.

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

Welcome aboard!
Yes, welcome to the land of expensive beer (amongst other things). A deciding factor in some of us taking up the hobby as well!
You aren't too far from Bad Apple Brewhouse in Ber... Somerset, be sure to pop by and meet Jeff. Tell him you're a Brewnoser, he'll charge you double.

Here's the man himself. Meet Jeff, taker of no shit, never met a pig he couldn't grill, and does handstands on the top of a raised forklift fork. All with a beer in his hand.HPhunter wrote:Welcome aboard!
