Hey guys just wondering if any one here has a grasshopper wheat ale clone recipe? Its a fantastic beer from Calgary

i recall having that beer at the NSLC a few years back. Nothing really stood out to me. I'm thinking you'd get close with a 50/50 or 60/40 wheat/pale malt bill. Their website lists the hops as Willamette and Saaz. I would lean toward 18-22 IBU with Willamette to bitter and a small Saaz addition at 15 minutes. I'd likely go with US-05 to bitter.

on a side note:

big rock is the biggest brewery here in alberta. recently (last 6 months) they are my go to brewery as they have been coming out with really top notch brews at craft levels. much better than some of the local smaller breweries.

Yeah I know they rock it sucks I cant get there beer anymore so id like to make some clones of theres if anyones got any ideas shoot em over please !!!!!!!!!

They don't bottle, but go to Last Best Brewing And Distilling in Calgary! They are stellar! Their rum aged imperial porter is amazing (actually they do note that one, the only one).

I would go but im in new Brunswick! !!

Well... If you or any others on here are ever in Calgary...

You bet big rock is my first brew choice but last chance will be my 2nd lol

Last best is quite good. I'm really enjoying dandy lately.
