Drink Tanks @ Garrison

I saw on Facebook that Garrison has insulated growlers for $74.99, and a keg cap for $34.99 which I believe holds a Co2 cartridge to dispense the beer (but I'm not sure). I was wondering if anyone bought one or has one? Seems like a lot of money, wondering if it was worth it?
Thanks - Tim

that is pricey for sure, but not bad considering that on the manufacturers website,
http://www.drinktanks.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, they are the same price but in US dollars. The keg cap actually looks l;ike it has a picnic tab, a pickup tube, and holds a co2 cartridge to dispense

They have insulated growlers at unfiltered as well... I can't recall if they were any cheaper or not though.

The Unfiltered ones are cheaper, $50, I believe. Hold temp really, really well. Small design defect that will sometimes cause the lid to rotate without unscrewing. The manufacturer knows, and I believe working on it.
Their design is the closest to perfect I've seen, but I'm really hoping for one where the lid does not go below the level of the bottle. With my Hydroflask, I've had it not seal properly because someone overfilled the growler, and the beer wouldn't allow the lid to close tightly. Just happened once, but was still annoying!

Agree with the lid defect. It's like a child safety top on a pill bottle. She's a challenge at times, but it keeps cold and hold the carbs well,

The lids have a cam bump lock to hold them in place when open Sandy. Open it all the way
The price on ours is $50 + tax.

Nash did give me an insider tip: just before opening, run it under a little hot water. It seems to expand it a touch, and makes the connection between metal and plastic tighter, and it should come right off.
