I may be showing my bias against "Organic" food, but trucking barley across the country twice and flying in hops from NZ because that's the only place that grows them organically seems to me to outweigh any seemingly environmentally positive aspects of brewing organically. To me, and many economists and scientists, buying organic only makes the consumer feel better, and does nothing for sustainability or the planet.
And using "non-genetically modified organisms"? People don't seem to understand that we've been genetically modifying crops since we developed farming techniques, lo all those thousands of years ago. Genetically-modified crops save lives. Thank you Norman Borlaug.

Yeah, it may be 'organic', but the carbon footprint is dumb.
