Any idea why a bomber of boxing rock u889 costs $10.50? Was at harvest wines a little while ago and was going to get one but that is steep.

That's the price at Bishop's Cellar as well. I suspect it's a fair bit more expensive to make given that they apparently use actual vanilla pods and good coffee isn't exactly cheap, and there's going to be quite a bit of grain cost in a beer that's pushing 9% as well. Also, smaller batch equals higher price, unlike, say, the Vicar's Cross that they're clearly making a ton of.

That all said, it's pretty expensive. And if you ask me it's not worth it, at least not according to my tastebuds.

I really enjoy this beer and will be making a RIS Thur or Fri aged with vanilla beans and cocoa nibs thanks to this beautiful beer. Mooowwwwaa!!!
