Sharp's is the largest brewer of cask beer in the South-west and Doom Bar is its most popular beer. With its balance of spicy hops, malt-tinged bitterness and lingering finish, it's a real tastebud tickler.
They forgot to add "bottled in clear glass for that awesome, bottled skunk flavor!" I didn't care for it, but I would try it again if I were across the pond, where I might get a fresh bottle that hasn't been light-struck. However, even fresh I highly doubt it would make my top 10. Anchor Steam is the only other one on their list that I have tried.

Yeah, I've been meaning to try Doombar, but the Greene King 'IPA' turned me off this level of imports.

Yes, Greene King was another spectacular disappointment. Spitfire Ale was the only UK import in clear glass that I have been satisfied with, but that was bought from Harvest Wines, where it was stored in a cooler and not under 1000 Watts of lighting... and that was over 2 years ago - I might think differently today.

I've always been scared off Doombar and Greene King because of the clear glass as well. I think the only beer I've had off that list other than Anchor Steam is the Paulaner Original. It was in pretty regular rotation in my beer fridge when I was living in Alberta since it was pretty easy to find.
