I'm heading to beerfest Saturday and noticed Picaroons isn't going this year. I wonder if they aren't interested due to the brewers bash they keep doing? I've also never seen Propeller there. Disappointing! On another note it looks like a good line up this year. I'm looking forward to trying some more craft beer from Ontario and Maine.

Picaroons is the host brewery for the CBA's this weekend and Propeller rarely enters to beer festivals.

Will do. Looks like Pumphouse will have a firkin of Biere de Garde which I look forward to trying. This year I am going to attempt to check off the ones I try. I have not done that in the past. Acadie Broue is another not coming this year. Really enjoy Patrice's beer. Last year I saw a guy with a clicker trying to keep track of his comsumption. lol

1600 people at the evening event and 1200 at the afternoon or so I was told by staff. It was packed but still not bad to get a beer. Most people were just socializing in front of the kiosks. Good time and nice selection of beer. Met a beer geek / brewer in the line up outside. He had not heard of the Brewnosers so I said he should check out the site. He seemed interested so who knows.

Awesome. I'm always spreading the word about the site. Did you get a chance to find any of the special beers the ANBL brought in for the fest?

I did. I was at one booth from Quebec and I can't remember that name of the brewery but they are going to be stocked next week at liquor stores in NB. It's such a tease sometimes to try all these great beer that you can't buy local. It's nice that this is not always the case.
