Holy shit, what is happening to our liquor store? Have they been taken over by aliens? They have an ample supply ( at least for now ) of Mad Tom IPA.
I picked up a few for the weekend.

It is a pretty good beer. Really where Garrison should be stepping up.

I loved it. Tried a few this weekend. I'll have to pick up a few more to tide me over until my IPA is ready to drink.

This does not show up in an NSLC search. What store were you at?

Keep a watch out for the Twice as Mad Tom IPA, it's a delicious IIPA: http://www.muskokabrewery.com/twice-as-mad-tom-ipa.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Great IPA, wish we could get it here in NB.

I was very disappointed with the twice as mad though, didn't care for it at all.

Didn't like Twice As Mad? How come? I liked it, but as a night cap. A little high in alcohol for an every day beer, as is the price.

I think the Mad Tom is such a good session beer, it's hard to top by throwing the same name onto another style.

Exactly. I certainly didn't dislike the Twice as Mad - I just wasn't as thrilled by it as Mad Tom, which I will drink any time somebody shoves one my way. I've even been known to buy it for relatives. Bastards drank it, too...

I wasn't too nuts about Mad Tom when I had it in Ontario last year. I found it oddly bland for such a high IBU value. Nicklebrook has an IPA called Headstock that I thought was much better.

X - did you call this a "session beer?" I can just picture myself pounding back a bunch of 6.4%-ers doing the yard work and 4 beers in I'd be trying to kill the neighbour with a whipper snipper. I must be getting old!!!

I drank quite a few working on Shelley's cottage last year. I guess sessionable for an IPA, lol.
