Dogfish Head Beer Purchase?

Hello folks,
Has anyone ever got there hands on any Dogfish head beer through here? I've had the 60 minute IPA before but would love to try some of their others. On that note, I'd really like to try anything from Stone, Allagash, Russian River etc....
I know getting beer from the US is no easy task but let me know your thoughts.
Thanks

I think we got some 60 minute a few years back but that's it as far as I can remember.

I'm surprised that Premier doesn't carry any of their stuff.

I think they may be at capacity taking care of their existing customers.

I managed to bring a few bottles of DFH back from New York last week. Got some 60 and 120 min IPA, Burton, and Chicory Stout.

Consider me jealous....especially since the 120 is so hard to get. Enjoy.

You are right mr x. As a result, they had to pull out of Canada.

120min is too sweet. the 90 & 60 are better.

They have a lot of their beers in Maine, so I've been lucky enough to try 12-15 different types through trips there. I currently have a Miles Davis' Bitches Brew... haven't tried that one yet.

bitches brew is pretty damn tasty, had it a few years ago during its first run. It's probably one of the best of their beers ive had.

You couldn't give me a 120. Awful. The others are nine thumbs up.

120 on tap is amazing. As is a Black and Tan with 120 and World Wide Stout on tap.
The small perks of going to Delaware for work a couple times a year...

Then they have a bottling problem or QC problem, because I've had two bottles on different occasion and there won't be a third.

Agreed on the 120. No thanks.

Or the way the beer is treated after it leaves the brewery was too far out of their control, and that's why they pulled back their supported distribution area.
120 is first and foremost an IPA, so I think you'd agree drinking it fresh is best for this style.

I'd strongly disagree with the first statement. I don't think it's an IPA anymore than Keith's is. But it may be better on tap. The Picaroon's effect.

Heading off topic, but I've had some pretty buttery Picaroons on tap...

Perhaps we are just suggesting you drink while the drinking is good?
I am sure you can always swing by NYC/alternate US location for another bottle

My issue with the DFH was an overwhelming sweetness, just way too underattenuated for me. But that's me.....

I got some DFH 120 min as a wedding gift (from a Mainer friend, for course). Looking forward to letting it sit for a year or so!

Drank a Ta Henket (from the Ancient Ales line) from DFH on the weekend.
Notes of straw, dirt and must were most prevalent. Certainly interesting, though.
I've had the 120 on tap in Boston and it's definitely different than the bottles that I have (managed to get 4 back with me on my Maine trip last year). I have one left that I'll probably let sit and condition for a while. Who knows if it'll improve or not.
