Price of Festa Brew

Post by Dummheit » Sun Aug 19, 2012 5:55 pm

In Fredericton, it's around $40.00 for Festa brew, does anyone know if it is cheaper in Halifax/Dartmouth area?

I believe Noble Grape is the same price, but you can email/call them to confirm: burnside@noblegrape.ca/1-877-913-946. And they do ship things throughout the Maritimes.

I think they are a few bucks cheaper at Water N' Wine in Truro and New Glasgow. I seem to recall paying about $35 for them there, but that was about two years ago.

Depends on the style.

At Noble Grape they are 37 to 42 I believe... usually the seasonal are the most expensive. (but they also run sales on them from time to time)

I've done the Blond, Red and Mexican and all turned out nicely.

pretty sure that's where he priced them in Fredericton....as they are the only ones that carry the Festa brews here as far as i know. They have a location here in case some ppl didn't know.

Old thread I know but I just purchased a festabrew from winekitz on Mountain Road in Moncton for $41 (red ale). I was under the impression they were cheaper ($30 range) but that must be directly from them. They have the complete line there. It's my first batch of homebrew ever. They have the west coast IPA for the same price.

I think you are correct - $30 would be the price direct from Magnotta.

West Coast IPA is a tasty beer, personally I think it is their best. I'd recommend it if you are planning on another. :cheers2:

$39.99 at Noble Grape unless it is a seasonal. The West Coast IPA is $44.99.

No tax on them anyway. Good chance to pick up some equipment though.

I have heard that Magnotta is raising their prices $7 - $10 depending on the type of wort. Good luck selling them.

The only place that sells them is a 30 minute drive away. They were $42.00 before the increase. No thanks.

That's a pretty steep increase for sure. But having said that, even at $50 at 6 1/2 cases of beer is pretty darn cheap compared to liquor store prices. Works out to be about 75 cents per beer.

It's fookin getting crazy here in Bitchwadda you...Festa has jumped to $44.99 and $49.99 at all vendors. Apparently, there has bee a "pow wow" between the playas and some price fixin' been done. Brewhouse is my alternative for now as I have a good stock, and I am looking at going back to extract, partial and full grain. The Brewnoser 10% at NG might pay for my fuel when I'm city bound needing C02 and loading up the back seat, but right now, I don't see anything good coming from this :o
At Bat: several Czech Pils
On Deck: Cream Ale
In the Hole: Kolsch
Clean Up: Tall Ships Ale clones
On tap: Propeller Pils, Festa Cream Ale

$38 I think my last Festa Brew kit was at NG in Dartmouth. I would love to sign up for Brewnosers if I can get 10% off. Great forum and would be worth $20-40 a year or whatever it is for that discount at NG.
