Horton Ridge Pilsner / Amarillo SMaSH that I’ve been calling ‘Amarilla’. Turned out pretty good.

I had a couple cans of Amateur Hour by ACBB & 2Crows last night and it was fucking excellent! I loved it so much I'm going back for more and will attempt my own version.

There are lots of beautiful beers available in Nova Scotia right now, but I think this one is particularly special.

Tapped the Propeller Pilsner yet once again...kegerator in garage froze lol...so took the 20 liter Sanke to basement whereupon I found out it's too tall with the corny adapters for the smaller kegerator lol. Room is closed off from the bar area and pellet stove on so air temp of 9C and floor temps around 5C are making it perfect! Spare reg, gas bottle and cobratap are making this one work!
At Bat: several Czech Pils
On Deck: Cream Ale
In the Hole: Kolsch
Clean Up: Tall Ships Ale clones
On tap: Propeller Pils, Festa Cream Ale

Man Tim Gregory’s day 31 from this years advent calendar was incredible and sad at the same time... the sadness is only from the lack of it left in my glass. Couldn’t find a thread for it but with one swig left I’m still drinking it haha.Image

Tims beer was one of my favorite.

I'm drinking the first few glasses of my second go at the recipe I did for that exchange. Got rid of the blackberry this time.

For a 4 week old 9.5% Dark Strong its tasting unbelievable.

Aight Jeff. I’ll follow your lead. I’m sipping on a Choas Ghost from 2C’s that I’ve been sitting on for a while.

My CO2 tank is empty until I can get to Dave’s, so I opened a mystery bottle from at least 2012, based on the non lighthouse cap. It tastes like burnt raisins and oxidation. I’ve had worse.

lol, ouch.

I'm drinking a berliner made from a mangrove jack kit. Just bottled a new version of an Irish red recipe today, so I eagerly await trying that.

Enjoyed the last of our Propeller Lambic Style series (Blackberry edition) last night. Opened it cold and found it quite bitter. As it warmed, the bitterness faded and the acidity was more apparent, and even a faint hint of blackberries on the nose. A great way to ring in 2020. Image

Tasting my brett'd and oaked old ale. It has more complexity but not funky. I was planning on kegging it today and I probably will. From the look of the pellicle I was afraid it would be too funky.
