You know, I've thought about this. I'm not sure "we" do (though I'm not sure we shouldn't either). I know a couple of people in the wine import business. Obviously, a huge part of their business is actually knowing suppliers, and probably they don't actually know any exclusively-beer people, but otoh they know distributors who supply all kinds of alcohol. I think I need to talk to them about what's involved in legally importing beer for a group like us. I had a vague idea of the process when I lived in Ontario, but I don't have a clue what's the same or different here. I have a horrible suspicion that whatever happens, it involves the product spending months (at our expense) in NSLC warehouses in abominable conditions.

I'd like to be able to have access to the same kinds of stuff that the guys in Quebec are getting for us. Kick some tires, see what you can discover.

Well, Anita & I picked up two bottles today as we are out in Vancouver picking up her car. If you are ready to pay for a bottle & postage ( thats yeast samples, right ) I can send it out to Chris for December's mtg.

John I would certainly cover the cost of that yeast sample coming east, I could just etransfer the money once you figured out the cost.
