Gahan Pumpkin Beer

Have to wait 'til Monday to see how this one pans out.
KitrGy - those must be your hops in this one?

Should we make an Aleanders meeting out of this on, say, Tuesday? (The release day's no good for me... Mrs. has her own thing that night)

The brewer at the Gahan (Brian) has hops in the ground, i imagine that is where the hops are coming from.

Man, that Breadalbane / Rose Valley area must be prime hop real estate!

Coming on Tuesday? You & Manley should help to round out this on-the-fly Aleanders gathering.

I'm out for a mid month Aleanders meeting. This week is grant-writing season combined with deer/duck season in NB. Should be good for Nov. 8th meeting though.

Yep, I'm still up for a taste.
Any time should be OK for me tonight... you have any preference? Just after supper? Just after work? Mid-eve?

Late reply on my part, but sure. I can swing by & pick you up.
LMK on here in the next few if that's the plan. Otherwise, I'll see you down there.

The verdict? It's good! Very much like liquid pumpkin pie.

I need to make a stop at Gahan the next time I'm on the Island. Sounds like they're stepping up their game again since the last time I was there.

Does anyone know if this is available for growler fills. My Mom is coming over for a visit later in the week, thinking I might get her to grab one for me...

That would definitely be welcomed by me. Last time I had their beers, they weren't much to rave about. Not bad, but 'festa-like'.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

Very tasty beer that got better as it warmed up.

And yes, they'll do Growler fills. In fact, I took one home last night to enjoy this evening.

Hey All,
I am the brewer responsible for the Pumpkin beer, I am very happy you seem to enjoy the 'biere du gourd'. Letting it warm up really brings the brew into its own.

I hope to make it to the next Alelanders meeting and talk to you guys about beer.

Hey, B.A. Good job, I've been planning on getting down to grap a growler, maybe Friday. Nice to see ya's starting some more seasonal and unique brews. I look forward to trying it. You will have to let us know more about those Breadabane hops though. Must be good soil and water out on this neck of the woods?
Cheers.
Don

If all goes according to plan I'm hoping that a growler of this will be arriving at my place this evening. Really looking forward to trying it!
