My brewery in Kelowna

Hey guys, just thought I'd let everyone know my brewery in kelowna is finally far enough along to start posting on facebook so if anyone wants to keep up with that feel free to check us out on facebook (right now there's not much to see but I promise gear and renovation pics are coming):

https://www.facebook.com/wildambitionbrewing/

I'll try to do better about staying active on here now that beer is 99% of my life again too - I may have left the maritimes but I still wear my brewnoser t shirt so I like to keep up with the Halifax scene too.

Gonna be doing the bottle conditioned saison/wild/sour/farmhouse thing though maybe not to the same extreme as stillwell brewing (I'm expecting to have to cave and brew some clean beers, non-funky berliner type sours and maybe a brett IPA - stuff that still benefits from our fermentation and bottle conditioning setup but more accessible to people who aren't giant beer nerds) at a 600L batch size (on the brewhouse, we have double size fermenters). Really stoked to be doing this in such a heavy wine producing region since it means I should be able to get piles of barrels as soon as we finish renos and can start filling them, as well as a lot of access to local fresh fruit and wine grapes to throw in our beer.

Who knows, maybe I can convince theresa to let me fly back to halifax for collabs once in a while :cheers2:

Thanks guys, and I guess I'll give you a sneak peek of a photo that hasn't made its way into a social media post yet...

In case you wondering what 250 lbs of hops looks like

Right family of plants, wrong vice :spilly:

I managed to get quite a few varieties I wasn't thinking I'd manage out of the gate too - citra, mosaic, simcoe, amarillo, wakatu, etc
