with pepsi or beer? haha, my friend just gets a sanke keg of beer then uses a transfer cable to transfer it from the rental keg to his pepsi keg, some breweries must fill pepsi kegs though

Pepsi is really bad for you.
Might as well not go for a soda

But seriously I bet there's breweries that will fill your corny keg up with beer for ya. I would say contact one of the many breweries around. They are everywhere!!!!

I figured as it was my understanding they either only fill their own or a sankey key, i thought that since a pin/ball lock keg was 'easier' to access, that was a deterrent for breweries to fill them.
Thanks for the info!
If anyone hears of any other, please post.
...and thanks vm....

Assuming you are talking about filling the keg with beer, contact Greg at unfiltered. I dropped a keg off to him around noon, and it was full of DOA at about 6:00pm.
The visitors to my house over Christmas are going to be very happy!

Yeah, so I don't think a keg of DOA would last in our house until Christmas!!

We fill pin-lock and or ball-lock kegs @ Unfiltered Brewing of any style beers we have on the go at the time.
Most days we're busy doing stuff so it's always best if you can drop it off to us a few hours ahead of time with your contact info and we'll call you a bit later when we have it filled up. You can also drop them in a few days ahead of time if that works better for anyone.
Oh and we "try" not to work on weekends, haha!

Unfiltered is an awesome option, it’s been a year or two but I’ve had a few Pepsi kegs filled at North as well. Runs about $135 for Gus if I remember right though which is a bit pricey in comparison to a sanke keg. Another solid option is to just buy the adapter for the sanke coupling from Dave, that way as long as you have the head room above the keg you could run your pin/Ball lock fittings on a sanke keg. My two cents.

Or buy a transfer cable with that so you can transfer the beer from a sanke to a corny.

Not sure if others are upcharging to fill a corny but we do not. A keg of beer is a keg of beer.

That Sanke setup is the one I got from Everwood- well...similar...I will also add Unfiltered to the short list that I know about who fills cornies...thus far the only ones I know who will are: Bad Apple, Lunns Mills, Firkenstein, Salt Box and North+Unfiltered...

Late to the game on this one but Tidehouse regularly fills ball lock/corny kegs. Logistics are up to the customer. Some folks straight up rent the keg (no deposit honor system) and some exchange their own for a filled keg of ours. There have been a few that bring in a pre-sani keg and we need 24hrs(ish) depending on the day for the fill.
Tap list changes daily.

Used to be hit and miss. These days more hits than misses.
You can of course sample what's available and decide for your self.

Spoke with Randy at Sea Level and he will fill cornies or Sanke kegs...just needs a heads up to fill - especially if you’re filling while waiting for the kegs as it’ll have to be beer fill day...reasonable prices as well.
