I was browsing the NSLC website to see what the cheapest beer is (the answer is Czechvar for some reason) and noticed their hilarious beer categories:

-ALE
-BITTER
-LAGER
-OTHER
-PILSNER
-PORTER
-STOUT
-WHEAT

It's because of stuff like this that we desperately need to open things up to people who care about beer. I mean, Stillwell has to go through the NSLC to contact Shelton Bros who then orders in beer from Alaska or wherever, just so we can try it at a massive tax markup. It sounds like there's a movement on the federal level to get the NB importation decision to stick, so who knows, maybe our children will grow up in a better world than we did.

The prices are nuts. There is no way in the world I will ever pay $45.00 for a 24 of Bud Light.
