I wasn’t told in confidence. I’d rather speak up while there might be still time to do something. I don’t want to lose my lunch time Halifax local. It’s the highlight of going to Halifax for me, and I can’t go there in the evenings.

Enjoyed the Rookie, Sour Saison, and RIS cask Saturday afternoon. Thanks for Jimmy, Chalmers, and Boogie for coming out, great to see some old familiar faces. Got me off to a great start to what turned out to be a fairly messy night

Great afternoon/evening/night/Idon'tremember!
Sucks about RB not opening until 4, though. I forgot to write my displeasure down on a comment card. And I don't know if tweets to their account will do anything, as I believe the manager is the one pushing for it, and might not pass them on to the owner.

So is 4pm going to be the new opening time moving forward, even for weekends? That will suck for me, as the normal time for me there is brunch on Saturday.

That will pretty much eliminate the RB for me if they do move the time on Saturdays.

If you go to the contact section of their website, it has 2 emails for contacts, one is the manager, and the other I'm not sure who it is - maybe the owner?

Well, I don't expect the RB to lose money on my account by opening early and in-kind losing money. I assume that they worked out the numbers over the years...
...I'm a bit more pissed that Stillwell opens at 11 on Sunday instead of Saturday, without ever having tried opening early on Saturday to know the difference.

If the RB closes at lunch. Should I go to H&T instead? Do they open at lunch? Not been there yet. Does Nash have any interesting beer there?

Summertime I usually do lunch at H&T just because you can be outdoors.

It's a good spot and the beers are always changing (though there's normally only 2 Nash beers on there).

What I heard is the management think people will go upstairs to the restaurant at lunch time instead of the RB and they will only have to open one of their premises at lunch. But a restaurant isn't a pub. That theory may be flawed.

Yeah, aint gonna happen. Rockbottom has been our go-to spot for brunch on the weekends - if they aren't open, we will go to elsewhere for brunch (or wait until 4 when stillwell opens

)

Yeah, for brunch, upstairs wouldn't be what we would be looking for either and we will end up going elsewhere with easier parking. It is unfortunate, but 4pm just doesn't work for brunch for us

Absolutely not going to the Moustache for brunch. Not interested in brunch anyway. Going out for the beer. It'll be Stillwell at noon, maybe h&t...

I'm going down around 12:30/1 today to see what Greg is up to, not sure if it's open for regular business or not though...

I am fairly sure it is not. The web site is no help.
