I haven't tried the t58 in a while. I'm glad to hear it has improved. Im looking forward to cracking a bottle now.akr71 wrote:SAAZ RIS, somehow we ended up with an extra 60+ liters after our contribution to the barrel, so we fermented the rest with T58 and San Diego Super yeast.
I'm drinking the T-58 one. Wasn't a fan at fist, but 6 months later, I'm enjoying this one.

Homebrewed IIPA, drowning my sorrows after loosing our floor hockey game tonight 14-3....i'm the goalie
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

The Winter Warmer you gave me was finished last Wednesday night. We all thought it was good, but a little under carbonated.
Still a tasty drop

Glad to hear it! I'll have to find where I stashed the bottles and try some more. I agree with you on the carbonation for it though.Tony L wrote:CorneliusAlphonse wrote:Having some homebrew APA. Had over carbed it,

LOL. That's the down-side of learning to judge beers - I have trouble saying "this is really good", when I'm thinking "this is out of class".dean2k wrote:akr71 wrote:A porter/brown that Dean gave me. TastyI'll take tasty. Can't call that a brown in good conscious though.

It was originally supposed to be a brown until I realized I over-clocked the roasted barley. On the plus side, I came up with a decent porter imoderek wrote: LOL. That's the down-side of learning to judge beers - I have trouble saying "this is really good", when I'm thinking "this is out of class".

Ordinary bitter for now. Probably wine with supper since I expect that Chef's Menu in Sackville doesn't have a great beer list.

Somebody mentioned to me that the 'honest' tag may be a little dig at another local brewery claiming to be NS's most honest brewery, lol.Jimmy wrote:mr x wrote:Has your ass been honestly kicked?![]()

Found the hops in Moncton. We made an impromptu decision to stay the night here as part of my birthday celebration. Pump House IPA is off the hook. Tastes great out of Super Nintendo Chalmers' mug!

I think the mugs are ~$20, and the yearly dues are the same.
Glad you got to use it, Hogie! I didn't think to offer it to you, so good call on that. I assuming you didn't pay the fee, right? I'll do that next time I'm in (or else just take my mug, I'm drinking at Marky's and the Tide and Boar these days).
