Belgian is not my thing. I went out for support. I had about 2oz and Blake had about the same. The bottle is in the fridge, the contents are yours if you want.

That good eh![/quote]
It is likely fine for the style. Really not my thing.

I'd be curious to try it, and I have the money that I owe you!!

They ran out of Farmhouse while I was in line and flipped the sign to closed just as they were filling my bottle. They have more beer, it just wasn't cold. They kept saying they were trying for a "soft" opening, but word get out faster than they were expecting.

I really liked the Gus'. Like a sessionable version of Westmalle Tripel. Look forward to the Yardstick they have planned, as well as trying the Farmhouse.

Holy Christ, they've only had 7 months to plan their opening...

They did seem overwhelmed. They only could beer gun one style at a time and both commented on needing another co2 line.

The early over exposure was likely part of their media/business plan and has ended up having many beer lovers leaving empty handed due to this

Still shit is always going to happen when you first open your doors in any business. Selling out is not the worst thing that could happen.

Bad news. The wife likes Belgian. Who knew. She may drink a beer a month but killed the 750 last night.

I am going to try the Farmhouse tonight.

From the usual results of your trips, I had thought that driving and flying all over the world to buy & drink beer was your work!

Crap, you've been unlucky, Leafsman. The store *should* be open W-F of next week, and I'll be dropping by at least once for more beer for the PEI guys. Lemme know, and I can grab you some too. My schedule is a bit more forgiving (Hey, I could even deliver to Cornwallis).

The same offer goes for other folks unable to get there mid-afternoon. Probably Wed, definitely Thurs.

If they are going to sell out like that, it would be a better idea to trim down their business hours. Or not running out of beer won't be an issue for long.

That's what they've done, only open for a few hours each day, and even closing this weekend and M&T to refill the tanks.
That doesn't help people like Leafsman, because either they're only open from 3-5, or open till they sell out, he still couldn't make it.
They've been much more popular than they anticipated.
