Sad I missed it, the baby wasn't cooperating when I got picked up after work. But I'm glad to hear it went well and I'll be down very soon for a pint or three!

I've run into that surly guy down on the waterfront. Is he up on Spring Garden too?
He certainly is.

Hey, Nash - you should talk to the "plumbing" help about the optics of bending over in the window into the brewery. Not attractive...

Isn't that how you determine that it's a real plumber?

The lady and I went down last night for dinner and a beer sampler tray/stick. Four hours latter we stumbled home in the rain. Thanks Nash!
By the end of the night I think we had a pint of each beer. They were all really good. The Fathom IPA is a must try.

Can't get that hop candy out of my mind.

Was down last night as well. Had everything but the Weizen. Really enjoyed all 4 of the beers my friend and I tried.

What hops were used in the Hop Warrior?

Nice!
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Well, the Weizen's a fine beer, but after trying the other 4 there'd really be no point :-) I started with the sampler, and couldn't restrain myself to just drink the whole weizen first, but after tasting the others, you really can't taste the wheat beer.

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

Cool, I've got a couple brews I wouldn't mind bringing by for you to try...if you don't mind. I'd like some criticism.

Went in for a few pops last night. Really enjoyed the IPA (the IIPA and the Stout were both very good too). Only complaint is the headache I have to shake today.
