I don't think I'm going to be able to, but not because I'll be hungover . There's a fundraiser tomorrow night @ 5:00 for my cousins 2 year old with cancer.

Well, that's a pretty damn good reason. Hope it's a huge success.

I wish I could drop by as well, but I'm flying out VERY early Sunday and my young guy has
requested supper / evening at home.

I have to kill some time tonight while my wife is at a Christmas party, so I might head down sometime later, not sure on details. Maybe around 8:00.

The next Propeller Lambic launch is on December 20th at Stillwell. Same rules as last time, 12-onward. Here's the link.

Crap. I'll be away on the 20th and 22nd. :( Anyone want to trade a bottle or two for something special from the cellar, or a future Prop Lambic bottle?

December 23rd, we're (Stillwell) proud to present the full run of the Picaroons 12 Beers of Christmas on all 12 taps.

Awesome no lugging growlers thru the streets for 2 1/2 weeks like the poor Frederictonians have to :)

This is an awesome Idea!
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

• A reminder that Propeller’s second Lambic release, Blackberry, is being released Monday, Dec 21st. To celebrate, the launch party will be taking place at Stillwell tomorrow, starting at noon. You’ll be able to buy the beer by the glass or bottle, and from 1-3pm will have the chance to sign up for a pre-release bottle to be picked up Sunday (limit one per person). The beer goes on sale Monday at opening at Gottingen (10am) and Windmill Rd (noon), with a strict one-bottle per person limit. Show up early to avoid disappointment, the Framboise sold out within minutes of opening!

Saw on the Propeller twitter feed that there's only 100 bottles available, so if all 100 go during the pre-orders then there will be no general sales on Monday.

I was also told 1 bottle limit per person. Not sure if that's been publicized.
