Fantastic. One of the two favourites of Friday evening's tasting. Excellent Dubbel.Tim Gregory wrote:How is it?jeffsmith wrote:Enjoying Tim's Doc's Feet Dubbel. Best quote of the night: "I love this hello kitty beer".

Re: What's everyone drinking tonight?
I had the Pumphouse Octoberfest and Thai Wheat on the weekend. I didn't care for the former but liked the latter. The Thai Wheat has enough ginger (or something similar) to clear your sinuses if you've got sniffles. Maybe beer is the cure for the common cold!

I'm convinced. Had a bad cold and then I drank a bunch of beer Saturday, now I'm fine!KMcK wrote:Maybe beer is the cure for the common cold!

Mike Downs' Raz Wheat. Nice but the hops may be a little high, I dont think the raz comes through. Nice and clean though.
Pass on the recipe if you can.

Just waiting to head to the airport for vacation, I figured I'd have a little sip of something before I left.

I will be drinking my serving list below

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

OK, now I have got to make a trip to the liquor store to look for it. I had one last year and man it was good.
And thanks ( again ) to Liam, I might crack a Dead Guy Ale he brought over to me when I get off call next weekend.
Perhaps at a big brew.

Had a Propeller Bitter with my jerk chicken sandwich at Ace Burger. Having an Augastijn blonde right now (very tasty brew). Also have Hopwired IPA and iStout from 8 Wired to try later tonight. Lovely start to my 3 day weekends.
