That's a great idea. I may try that with a batch of berliner. How do the bottles hold up over time?

I used 600g of frozen fruit per gal...turned out awesome..

View did you sour? In the kettle or in a carboy? I've got my electric setup that I can use to warm the mash, but I'm curious if transferring is easier

Angus from Breton and a sample of Crazy Angus. Both very good but the CA was a touch thin for my liking.

You guys in NS are spoiled! The selection of great NS beer at Liquid Assets has doubled since my last visit. I can't wait to try some of these brews. Maybe one day I'll be able to grab some Unfiltered here on my way through.

That was my last minute addition when I had space for one more in box. I didn't realize it was the Glenora barrel aged beer. Can't wait to try it.

A buddy gave me an early sample of one of Keith's upcoming products. I must say I'm quite enjoying this.

Rockhead expanded their beer selection a bit, including more unibroue products. Tried the Maudite so far, good times.

I tried the Black Angus IPA and was really disappointed with the pour. Initially, I thought, "C'mon guys you can do better than that!" It was cloudy and lazy looking but smelled great. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised with it overall. Unfiltered doesn't have to be cloudy, as I usually clear up anything that is a lager or a pale ale. On another note, a friend left a six pack of Garrison Tall Ships Ale behind and my curiosity got the better of me. I really enjoyed it - simple and refreshing - and will be brewing it as a Lawnmower beer.
At Bat: several Czech Pils
On Deck: Cream Ale
In the Hole: Kolsch
Clean Up: Tall Ships Ale clones
On tap: Propeller Pils, Festa Cream Ale

Just had the Black Angus as well last night. Hops seemed nice but base tasted a bit muddled and took away from the hops. Kind of a grainy husky flavour...
