Re: Official Stillwell Thread
Starting time = opening time. I don't think it'll sell out in a couple of hours, only concern is to beat the rush for seating.

Re: Official Stillwell Thread
As much as I'd love to be there, I have a family commitment on PEI this weekend
However, I'm here at Stillwell now getting the scoop - very nice new glassware for it, and they have lots to go around: they have 1/4 of the batch. As Chris says, the only rush will be for seating

From Propeller:
Launch at @barstillwell this Saturday - If you want to be sure you don't miss out, we will be there 1-3pm taking pre-sale orders that will be available Sunday only (limit 1 bottle 750ml $18).
Reasonable price, I think.

And, in case it wasn't clear, there will be lots of lambic for purchase and consumption on-site at Stillwell on Saturday (by the glass, or by the bottle).

As someone who is away, if they end up not having any left when they open on Monday I'm going to be very annoyed.chalmers wrote:From Propeller:

I seriously doubt they'll be out, but I'm not sure who you would be annoyed with, other than your family for dragging you away.mikeorr wrote:As someone who is away, if they end up not having any left when they open on Monday I'm going to be very annoyed.chalmers wrote:From Propeller:

What time are you back Sunday, is it before 10pm? Maybe you could get your name on the pre-sale list, with help from a friendly friend.

And since they're saying there are only 200 bottles, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they were all gone in pre-orders. The real question - how much of it ends up on eBay?chalmers wrote:I seriously doubt they'll be out, but I'm not sure who you would be annoyed with, other than your family for dragging you away.mikeorr wrote:As someone who is away, if they end up not having any left when they open on Monday I'm going to be very annoyed.chalmers wrote:From Propeller:

Assume the 2 bottle limit applies to pre-orders too?chalmers wrote:Limit of two bottles on Monday, in case you didn't know.GAM wrote:Mikemikeorr wrote:

Re: Official Stillwell Thread
So in theory you can pre-order a bottle on Saturday, pick it up on Sunday, then buy two more on Monday?

Re: Official Stillwell Thread
I'd be shocked if it were all gone in pre-orders. 1 bottle limit, doubt we'll see 200 people at/in Stillwell in that period. Even if they set up on the sidewalk, to avoid fire marshall issues. Plus, I'm sure they'd be holding some back to ensure there's some Monday.BobbyOK wrote:And since they're saying there are only 200 bottles, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they were all gone in pre-orders. I will be the dork in a full suit and tie pre-gaming a Raspberry Lambic before a wedding with an open bar......

Heading into the city tonight and think of hitting up SW or RB for a pint or three. Anybody gonna be around?
And I'll have a couple free passes to the Outdoor, RV & Boat show at Exhibition park, if there is any interest.
