What bugged me is that it seems the Hoppy Tuesday special is gone? The last time I was down I paid in a rush and noticed later. Last night I asked and they had no idea what I was talking about.

I had a tense discussion with the server when it was time to pay my bill. What I recall her telling you was that Messie was not part of Hoppy Tuesday pricing, but the other beers were. Paul recalls her saying something to the same effect. I had one Messie and three micros. I was charged full price for all four. When I reminded her of what she said earlier she clarified that she meant that although Messie wasn't being discounted on Hoppy Tuesdays, all of Nash's other beers were. I argued that it wasn't reasonable for the customers to have interpreted what she that way because there were no other Nash beers on. She eventually conceded to my point (or maybe was just tired of arguing with me) and offered me a discount.

I think they're trying to sneak it away, given that my last trip was for the Hop Rock Candy Mountain or whatever he called it... I'm not usually a conspiracy theorist but hey. At least someone received a discount.

I was more interested in clarity than a discount but got both. In retrospect I realize I may have been a bit rude to her.

i was always under the impression that it applied to nash's beers only. mind you, i never really go there to have anything else.

The glycol chiller does have something wrong still, and it always will have. Its in the boneyard in about 100 pieces The new one is being installed tomorrow.

My Dad has never been to Halifax so I am showing him around. Right now we are just wandering so we don't have a plan, but I'm encouraging the direction of rock bottom. I'll post in the RB thread if we make it there.

Chiller is installed, up and running, fermenters are both full and crashed already. Transferring both to the bright tanks on Sunday and hope to launch them Tuesday or Wed

Hmmm. Forecast is for first non patio day in weeks and H&T finally has new beer. Maybe.

My webadmin finally did something right so I plan to take him out for a beer.

That situation needs to be dealt with using a stick, not a carrot.
