Would have been nice to see you guys. It was difficult getting there yesterday. The town was pretty jammed up with the street closures due to the marathon.

Cask takeover at Stillwell on June 21st, over 12 "one-off, creative, tasty casks from Garrison lined up on the bar top". Tickets for early/first taste session $10 (12-2pm), tickets at the door only for the main session at 2pm.

I've grabbed my tickets for the noon start. Same deal as before, $10 gets you a glass and first pour. Pre-paid tickets guarantees entry, and then the doors will re-open at 2pm on a first-come, first-served, basis.

Max goes to soccer and I sat on a bench with one of the editors of the Grapevine (local free rag) on Monday. I was talking beer with her and mentioned the BAB story and the Mosaic story. She said "sounds like a good one for the Grapevine". I emailed some links and the reply was "Thank you so much, Mark! I'm going to forward this to the GV team and hopefully we can have a piece on him sometime in the future." I think the publicity is going to catch on and the beer will run out. If Sandy is coming down this weekend maybe I'll come along as I haven't tried it yet. Been sending people down there and they have been raving about it.

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

• And finally, we are very excited to announce the next big event scheduled at Stillwell Beer Bar. Jeff at Bad Apple Brewhouse has been brewing like crazy since opening just a few months ago, and will be taking over the taps (and casks) at Stillwell all day July 5th. Featuring twelve taps and two casks, there will be something for everyone that day: the much-anticipated return of That's Falcon Teamwork (brewed with the Stillwell gang), barrel-aged versions of the Impresser DIPA and Black and Tackle RIS (as well as their non-barrel-aged versions), and the last keg of Mosaic DIPA. Among the six (SIX!) new beers debuting at the takeover, folks will have first crack at the Smokehouse Lager (brewed with 100% Smoked Malt), Apple Cider, the Summer Slurper Session Ale, and a few more special beers that will blow people's socks off. So, how do you get in on the madness? Tickets for the noon (First Sips), afternoon, and evening sessions are on sale today at Stillwell. Unlike other events, you will need a ticket to get into the afternoon and evening sessions, so plan accordingly. As with other Takeovers, your $10 ticket gets you a glass and your first pour. We'll definitely see you there! http://atlanticcanadabeerblog.wordpress ... wrap-up-6/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Sandy, I went to BAB yesterday and got all the latest gossip and a growler of Mosaic, which I haven't had a chance to try yet. Drop in on your way through if you want.

:cheers2:

Ask for them at the bar, Keith. I got the same answer as dexter today when I asked about them during today's event.
