Loved the Cocoa Hops. I could taste the roastiness in the first glass I had. Then I had a Hyperhidrosis, and my taste buds were overloaded for the rest of the night into the land of hoppiness.

Excellent beer as always though. Looking forward to the next trip over to Halifax.

Thanks! I had a Cocoa Hops tonight and was feeling the love, a bit odd almost, all the malt and roasty flavours combined with the hops but it works nicely.

One cool thing about working in another brewery is it allows me to drink and taste my own brews as an outsider, sort of.

Well there we have it, I'm tasting my own beer as an outsider yet again!

I strongly suggest you all grab a case or two of this stuff when it's released because it's fucking delightful. Well, if you like fresh unfiltered beer that's been brewed with a shit-ton of hops that is :cheers2:

When's the release? Only at the brewery, or around town?

Just in time to get some before the Brewnosers meeting  After the launch it'll be available at Propeller for limited growler fills and in bottles of course, bottles at a couple of the local agency stores and on tap at the Thistle. :cheers2:

There goes my xmas money :spilly:
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

I'd also appreciate someone grabbing 2 or 3 bottles for me if possible.

Well Fuck... Looks like I'll have to drink some more of my bottled beer to make room in the fridge... to buy more beer.

I need a bigger bottle fridge.

Impromptu trip to hear Matt Mays and taste some big beers. Very nice, the hops went down with less fuss than I recall.
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.
