I half-thought about going across the pond JUST for this. Can't do it, though. But if anyone want to bottle some of Nash's goodies for me... :D
Even just seal 'em in a bottle, put 'em in a plastic bag, write my address on it, and throw it in the ocean?

Oh, yeah! I'm not 29, in fact closer to twice that, so I have to get permission from the management committee to attend something like this, but I have managed. I'll be there - apparently it's advance payment for the work I'll be doing Sunday and Monday.

Excellent! Glad to hear you guys are coming out :cheers2:

I'll also be tapping my wet-hop brew made with the french-speaking hops from QC [ ], which is actually a west coast Red Ale :spilly:

Les Grenouilles! (I had French for 12 of my 13 years of school - no, I went to school in Ontario, they didn't hold me back a year - and "Grenouilles" is about all I learned...)

So who else is heading down Saturday afternoon/evening?

Nash, the hop sausage coming out early or later? Just wondering if I should plan to be down there right at 2pm (and have to bail out a bit earlier) or plan for 4ish (gotta be there by 5 for Messie!) and stay later.. don't want to miss the hop sausage though!

The hop sausage and all the other beer/food stuffs will be available from 2pm onward, they made lots of everything so I don't think it'll run out but I was wrong one other time :)

I'll be heading down, not sure what time. Certainly there for Messie.

Edit: Besides Messie, will all of the beers be on starting at 2, or will they come on as another keg is blown?

Random brews will be tapped as another runs out. We'll only be using one of the taps for the extra goodness :cheers2:

Just got a posting on the MoB site and thought I'd share it with you.

I was in Halifax last week for a couple of days and had time to go to Hart
and Thistle and sample some of Nash's beer. I tried his RIS, Shwartz porter,
and the Irreverence Harvest ale. I was curious if anyone else had tried the
Harvest ale as I think it was one of the best beers I have ever had. The
other beer was also great but I can't get the Irreverence of my mind.
Besides the beer I thought that the food was top notch as well.

Good job Nash.

Thanks for posting Tony, glad to hear whomever it was enjoyed the beers! Irreverence has a nice little fresh hop nose and flavour and some big malt-balls but not as planned planned since I was shorted 12 kgs on the fresh hops. I think a lot of folks were expecting a giant hop-bomb which it's not, by comparison to what I 'usually' brew at least. The dead silence after the first sips when a full round was delivered to my table at my birthday was fucking hilarious, I guess folks don't want me telling them to go fuck themselves
