Garrison East Kent IPA. Not my cup of tea, but a decent beer.

I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber

I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe

If I remember to post it later, I'm drinking Heineken all week, because it's the most drinkable of the swill sold at Pop Explosion shows.
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.

Looks great Shane. My favs are the Dogfish Head 60 and the Ruination IPA.
I'm drinking my APA that I have on tap right now. Got to make way for the great one I have in primary right now.

Re: What's everyone drinking tonight?
I saw some tweet from Brewnoser about the beer selection: were they taking over taps with Heineken et al. at existing bars (or disallowing sales of other beer), or arw you just referring to venues that were not normally licensed were selling only Heineken? That seems ridiculous if the former.benwedge wrote:If I remember to post it later, I'm drinking Heineken all week, because it's the most drinkable of the swill sold at Pop Explosion shows.

Likely going to have a Sartori Harvest from this nice flight I received today that included a Westy 12 (from the monastery).

Actually, I did start with the cider because the cap got comprised at some point during one of her flights. Not bad. Tasted more like beer with apple rather than hit-you-over-the-head-with-apple cider.

Trying some local beer from Paddys in Wolfville/Kentville. I picked up their Raven Ale and Annapolis Valley Ale.

We drink the AVA when we go there (which is quite a bit). Never could quite get into the Raven. What do you think of them?redoubt wrote:Trying some local beer from Paddys in Wolfville/Kentville. I picked up their Raven Ale and Annapolis Valley Ale.

I'm enjoying both so far, but prefer the AVA. What can I say, I like hops! What is it that you don't like about the Raven?GuingesRock wrote:We drink the AVA when we go there (which is quite a bit). Re: What's everyone drinking tonight?
I think it's just I like the AVA a lot better (they call it AVA for short). The chimney swift stout I thought was a bit better than the Raven. Raven is quite well known. I don't suppose you figured out the hops in the AVA?redoubt wrote:I'm enjoying both so far, but prefer the APA. What can I say, I like hops! Re: What's everyone drinking tonight?
Ah, I meant to type AVA. Went back and corrected that in my other post there, thanks. Haven't had the Chimney Swift Stout yet, so I can't compare it to the Raven. All in good time! And no, I can't name the hops in the AVA, my palate isn't that great yet! Do you know which hops are in it?GuingesRock wrote:
