Anything fresh from Stone sounds amazing. I'm jealous.

As for myself, tonight all I'll be drinking is neo citran

Is Wilco playing? Lucky bastard :spilly:
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

I've been nursing an Aventinus Eisbock (12%!) for the last hour. It's been in my stash for probably 2 years and is rockin.

Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. I thought it was OK for Quidi Vidi.

Yesterday I opened and drank a bottle of Blueberry Mead Jan/09 that a buddy of mine from Prospect Bay gave me last year.
Lip smacking good as all his meads are.
Tonight I'm going to give some lip service to my Helles that soon will be pushing CO2. Then the remains of my Schwarzbier
will occupy the tap.
Being off work for surgery sucks, but do have some benefits.

Jeff, I think I would save a few and not drink them all tonight, lol.
And if you are up for a road trip, don't forget to bring a few of those brews to an ailing buddy, wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

 I'll try and take it easy.

I'd try and toss one across the strait to you, but I fear it'd only make it as far as Cape Breton. Hope you recover quickly from the surgery!

X: Had to be grape, because it was straw in colour. I thought it was fruit-free, but if you hadn't made one of those, then it was grape. Clearly it wasn't coming through terribly strong (or we were too smashed to notice).

Other beers consumed (or partially consumed) last night:
-Gahan 1772 IPA (consensus was this was closer to a Pale Ale, but much improved over previous iterations)
-Sea Level Blue Heron (drain pour, butter bomb)
-BBB's Belgian Witte fermented on an Abbey strain, lots of spice and great head retention, makes your mind go "Woosh". (Jimmy, we need a Woosh smilie). If that doesn't make sense, ask LD next time you see him.
-Sea Level Bitterdaze IPA (plenty of hops and bitterness, but the diacetyl was coming through bigtime, and though we made it further through the glass, still drain poured it)
-Mill St. Franconian Bock (PEI-LC sampler pack, pretty decent)

It's a freaking shame about the Sea Level. I think I've now officially given up on bottles of Randy's stuff. Way too much of a Russian Roulette.

Nice!

X, it was definitely grape. Now that I'm expecting it, I definitely smell it in the bottle.
