I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe

I have a buddy in Vancouver that I do a beer trade with once or twice a year. He hooks me up with some great stuff.

Dean2k: just saw a 6pack of that at the NSLC, on the clearance rack. Must be getting kinda old, might explain the gumball?

Leaksman: Was actually at the NSLC in the hopes of picking that up, but all gone from Sprybeeria. Homebrew will have to do for now!

Hailstorm IPA is first up.

Got mine at the farmers market today. On to homebrew next and maybe some DFH 60 a bit later

My box says packaged in April. I need to recant my statement somewhat. I got the gumball off that first quaff and it's not as pronounced afterwards. Still won't but it again, however.

On to the Grimross Stout, next up is Uncle Leo's Red. I had the Uncle Leo's IPA yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Gravity sample from my RIS. Came down to 1.023 from 1.101 in 2 weeks. Gonna leave it on the cake for two more and then bottle and forget about it until Christmas Eve.

Also have a growler of Uncle Leo's IPA on the go. Damn that's good stuff.

Parallel 49 Black Hops cascadian dark lager while relaxing in the hot tub in Fernie, BC after another big day of mountain biking. I could get used to this..

Having a Boxing Rock Vicars Cross DIPA. It's not bad, but seems more like an IPA, than a DIPA.

PEI Brewing 1772 IPA. Picked it up at the brewery yesterday. Tastes super fresh, though the service at the brewery store was less than stellar, that's a whole other story.
