Jimmy, nice line up.

I'm having Propeller 2xIPA. Good, but I agree with others its a bit too grassy. I don't mind a bit of grass flavor, but in a double IPA I want my mouth to start salivating at the smell of hops and grass just doesn't do it for me.

Same here. It's a really odd grassy flavour too. I'm almost getting some weird mayonnaise flavour in there along with it.

I just poured a pint of my Arrogant Bastard clone. yum
Good to know, I'll see what I can bring back. The store we went to has over 350 different craft beers in stock.

Looks for the Sierra Nevada Rye IPA. Their keg list is unreal.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

Pretty sure you can bring back however much you want - you just pay duty on anything above the 24.

Edit: Propeller DIPA for me tonight.

The limit is actually in liters - so I guess it's 8l - but the only time I brought more than that back I declared it in bottles.
Currently on tap: Whiter Shade of Pale!
In keg: .
In Primary: Nothing

Duty is marginal - it's the sales taxes (about 100%) that will get you.

Either way, if you have the room and it is something you want to bring back - go for it, assuming you want to pay for it twice.

Having the 2XIPA right now and must say, I'm not getting any grassy flavour from it. Just lots of yummy hops.

BTW, Chalmers, It is still carbonated... or was when I opened it. And thanks to Liverdance also.

Very much looking forward to trying that on Thursday, provided I can kick this cold I picked up Friday.

Happy to share! Wasn't supposed to be imperial but the 87% efficiency took care of that!

Looking forward to tasting some SAAZ brews down the road. :cheers3:

Jimmy, what are you drinking tonight?? :)
And yes, the duty-free limit is 24 355 bottles or 8.5 litres. Remember that's per person, so you can bring twice that, unless you have other plans (wine or spirits).

And I second the suggestion on the Rye IPA from Sierra Nevada.

It does not look very good with the green tint.

Damn, I meant to bring some super collider back from Ontario. My sixer must be sitting in my moms garage. Thanks for reminding me, I will have to get her to put it somewhere more temperature controlled so it lasts until next winter.

I'm trying out the Propeller double IPA. I think it's the only Propeller beer I haven't tried yet.
