LD and I are down at the H&T now, and not a Brewnoser in sight! Shame on y'all! It's a beautiful Friday night.

Made it down early this afternoon for a pint. Had a top secret sample of the upcoming all Citra DIPA from the fermenter. Fucking amazing. Once it gets on a tap, that one won't last long.

Citra IIPA...well, gonna have to make some improvements to that one too, lol.

A few BNers off to NB tonight Chris. I sent Kyle packing with 40lbs of pulled pork, lol. I'm kinda beat at the moment myself or I would've gone down. Or...maybe if I had know beforehand that peeps were heading down, lol.

I thought about heading down, but a friend of mine was dropping by to drop off some stuff from A L'abri De La Tempête, including this bottle of Le Vieux Couvent.

NO!!! I knew nothing of its origins - I just ate it. Kyle is blameless. :-) In fact, I had thought Kyle was bringing Nick's food - so if I'd even known Kyle had brought it, I'd have thought Nick had made it :-)

I've been lucky enough to "be the first motherfu*€]r to have a glass of this shit".

Tried a glass of Nash's new Citra Nation IIPA this afternoon... Tasty stuff.

They were serving it yesterday afternoon. It was very refreshing and pleasant.

As for growlers, the H&T doesn't do them, unless there's some secret policy to which I'm not privy.
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.

It's practically illegal for them to sell beer in the first place.

Of course it is.. thank God for those wonderful buerocrats protecting me from those dangerous DIPA!

Going to try and head down to the H&T around tonight around 6:30 - 7 to try the latest creation (I've missed out on so many previous ones because I haven't made it in time!)

You I understand, but JMac, do you ever work?
I'm just jealous, I'm stuck at home on the help line today, which means no beer at lunch.

But LD&I (and EZ) will be heading down for some Citra Lovin' tonight around 8:30-ish.

I may have to conjure up some cash and head down to enjoy the last patio day of spring.

Don't you mean the first patio day of spring
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.
