Shook the Keg and changed the taste

So I have two batches of beer in kegs and I wasn't really happy with the carbonation level so I decided to shake the keg and see what happens. Both batches are inside my home-built kegerator and cool. One batch had been in the keg in for about 6 weeks and the other for about 4 weeks. I was enjoying the beers, but after I shook the kegs the taste changed quite a bit. The beers are still drinkable, but I find they're much more bitter than they used to be. I wonder if I there was some sediment on the bottom of the keg that I reintroduced and resuspended when I shook the kegs. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

Not really sure on what would cause that, how long after you shook them were you tasting them? I usually let em settle 24 hours minimum after shaking.

Force carbing can give a CO2 snap to beers sometimes.

It's been about a week since I shook the kegs. Not sure what's going on. Oh well. Might have to brew more beer!

I think it's old yeast and it will settle out again and be ok in a week or two, especially if kept very cold.
